I enjoyed your well presented article, ‘Purpose of Files with .iso File Extension’. It borders on, but doesn’t answer what I’m searching for.

Here’s my problem: I have WinZip and am trying to clone my XP O/S. I got as far as burning Clonezilla-live-20110530-natty.iso. onto a CD. However, despite the fact that this is a bootable CD, my O/S just won’t boot from it. – Is there a ‘simple’ way that I (a S/W layperson) can modify my Win XP O/S so that it will boot from it?
Thank you, Robert DeCote
